- To use it, open the Photoshop window where you have made the selection you need to deselect.
- Press Ctrl/Cmd + D to deselect the selected area.
- Photoshop immediately deselects the selected area on the image.
Deselect Area with Right-Click Option
Another approach to deselect an area in Photoshop is to use an option from the right-click menu.
- To use that, first, open the Photoshop window where you’ve got an image’s area selected.
- Right-click on the selected area of the image and, in the menu that opens, select “Deselect”.
